Native
to the coastal redwood region of
Northern California, mainly north
of San Mateo County. Usually found
on brushy, woody slopes, often
in the company of coast redwood
trees, Sequoia sempervirens. This
California native plant is available
in the nursery trade, although
in limited quantities.
