Background

I am a formally educated and practically experienced consulting Arborist and Horticulturist. Since 1984 I have offered a broad range of technical and advisory services to the horticulture, arboriculture and agriculture industries and private individuals. My background is diverse and includes education and experience in horticultural problem-solving, arboriculture, agriculture nursery production and management, landscape planning, construction and maintenance. I have been intensely fascinated and involved in horticulture since age three, and spent my summers working in different aspects of the horticultural industry since age twelve.

I trained specifically for horticultural problem-solving while in undergraduate and graduate school, and started my business as a horticultural consultant after graduation. Educated through the U.C. system I continue to work closely with University horticultural advisors, extension personnel, and agricultural research departments. I have associates in allied fields around the world.

I emphasize the prevention of problems, accurate diagnosis and practical solutions.

I am a member of many horticultural organizations that provide me with a broad depth of involvement in the industry. My recommendations are based upon current arboricultural and horticultural scientific research and field experience.

I will be happy to provide you with further information and a reference list at your request.
